Top WR Target Noah Collins-Howard Enjoys UMass Jr. Day
2027 New York receiver Noah Collins-Howard is one of the top targets on the Minutemen's recruiting board and enjoyed his recent trip to Amherst.
Noah Collins-Howard left UMass’ recent Junior Day with a strong first impression.
The 2027 New York wide receiver traveled to Amherst last weekend as the Minutemen continue chasing one of the faster prospects on their board.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder currently holds offers from UMass, Syracuse and Akron.
The Rush-Henrietta standout said the visit exceeded expectations from the moment he arrived on campus.
“It went great. It was amazing hospitality,” Collins-Howard said. “I had no complaints.”
Collins-Howard spent the day touring campus and the football facilities while also sitting in on meetings covering academics, NIL and position development.
“They treated me very well,” Collins-Howard said. “I got a tour around the whole campus and football facilities. We had meetings about academics, NIL and individual coaching meetings.”
The facilities themselves stood out as one of the biggest takeaways.
“I was really surprised,” Collins-Howard said. “The facilities are really advanced. The weight room was really nice and I liked how they have the indoor bubble so athletes can go in there when it’s cold.”
Collins-Howard also met with the staff during the visit, including head coach Joe Harasymiak.
“He was really real,” Collins-Howard said. “He talked about building trust and building something new there.”
Wide receivers coach Jordan Hogan has been involved in the recruitment for several years and continues to play a central role.
“I love Coach Hogan,” Collins-Howard said. “I like how he teaches football and the advice he gives.”
UMass also made it clear during the visit how highly it values him in the class.
“It means a lot knowing I’m high on their board,” he said. “They believe in their players and their staff and that stood out to me.”
Collins-Howard plans to return to Amherst during spring practice to continue evaluating the program.
He also has additional visits scheduled with Boston College, Villanova and Rhode Island while continuing to hear from Syracuse, Temple and Buffalo.
His recruiting process remains open as he works through those visits and prepares for an official visit with UMass later this summer.
“My process is just visiting these schools and seeing where it takes me, but UMass has definitely been showing a lot of love.”
