UMass head coach Joe Harasymiak just announced Hairston as this week’s start.
AMHERST, Mass. - AJ Hairston’s time has arrived.
UMass head coach Joe Harasymiak listed Brandon Rose, who started the first two games, but missed the third with an injury, as Questionable for the Missouri game.
But Harasymiak also announced Hairston, the Minutemen’s redshirt freshman, would get the start against the Tigers on Saturday night after seeing time against Bryant and Iowa.
Grant Jordan took over when Rose went down against Bryant and started against Iowa.
