2026 WR Pauly Sadler Set For UMass Official
UMass wide receivers coach Jordan Hogan conducted an in-home visit with 2026 Ohio WR Pauly Sadler on Monday night.
In preparation for hosting Pauly Sadler for an official visit in Amherst next month, UMass sent wide receivers coach Jordan Hogan to Ohio on Monday to visit with the 2026 Cleveland wideout.
“It went great,” Sadler told Minuteman Command afterward. “We talked a lot about getting up there for the OV, the June 20th-22nd weekend, just talking about the great stuff that they have in store for this season.”
The Glenville High School standout was impressed with Hogan.
“He’s a great coach, great first impression,” said Sadler. “He did a great job meeting the family, talking to them about the University. He opened me up to a lot of things, just getting me ready to come in - if I were to come there - and be ready to play.”
The 6-foot, 180-pounder has more than a dozen scholarship offers, but appreciates the genuine interest from the Minutemen.
“UMass was one of the first schools to take a shot at me,” Sadler said. “I'm just big on that. With Coach Hogan saying that the new coaching staff coming in is doing big things, I would love to see it from my own eyes when I come up on campus.”
Sadler is excited for the official visit.
“I just want to see just the atmosphere of the city,” he said. “Practice isn't going to be going on while I'm there, so I won’t be able to see the atmosphere of the practices, but I'll still be able to get down and get a feel for the city and a great country town.”
Sadler plays for legendary high school coach Ted Ginn Sr., and is confident the Glenville program will have him prepared for college.
“Being able to be pushed by the best players and the best coaches is going to help me at the next level,” he said. “One of the greatest coaches of all-time has been coaching me in high school, even in little leagues. Being able to go to college and being able to be coached hard, being able to sit there and listen and take it all in.”
Sadler also has an official visit set up to see Western Michigan and could make trips to Ball State and Ohio as well.
He expects to have a decision by the middle of July and says it’ll definitely be done by the middle of August.
Sadler knows what he’ll be looking for over the next couple of months.
“One big decision is going to be just the players, being able to see how the players work and seeing how they come and how they present themselves. Knowing I'll be going into the brotherhood that I'll be creating for the next three to four years of my life.”
